Thumbs up No data, no texts, cannot recieve/make calls. **Problem Solved, Thank You!**

**The problem has been solved, please read below for the solution if you're having a similar issue.** Hello. Since about... 8 - 10 pm last night I've not been unable to receive 3G signal, it says my normal (edge?) reception is at full bars, (but it's white, not green), any call i attempt results in a busy signal, and any call made TO me goes straight to voice mail. I know that it isn't because my bill is a little behind because I've made a bridge payment so all of my services should still be working, but not only that, i KNOW that when your account is so behind that you no longer have data, you can STILL send and receive texts (for almost an entire month and a half - i've done it, so i know,) and when someone calls, it does not go to voice mail, it simply notifies the caller that your phone is off.

Wifi works. Yes, my phone is rooted, but i did that today while searching for a solution to THIS problem (i'm easily distracted, and i wanted to get rid of my bloatware.)

    Phone details:

    M886

    Android version 2.3.6

What I HAVE done: reset phone, turned phone off for a few minutes, toggled between airplane mode on/off, taken batter out for a few minutes, then booted it back up, toggled data on/off 4579498749876 times, reasoned with it, offered oral pleasure, slapped it around a little bit... I've tried everything. What further suggestions do you have?!

i saw a similar thread to mine, but the problem wasn't identical and none of the solutions found within it worked. if there is a thread with identical problems, then i wasn't able to find it so please direct me towards this thread. thank you.

Try turning off the data and leaving it off for about 10 mins then power off the phone for 5 then cut it back on

And then turn the data back on and see what happens

I had the same exact problem, sad to say, I still havent found an answer. Try taking it to one of the people from the cricket store. If they cant figure it out, I think yu might have to get a new phone. :S Have yu tried the *228?

White signal bar means in roaming mode, try browsing web.

Also try escalate your problem to next level of technical assistance, it will take about two days for them to call or contact you or another way.
