1 out of 1 members liked this post.

i sent them all my phone info and told them to stop effen around and give me the bootloader password now and that we are all tired of effen asking for things like our ics and bootloader. and that if they hate us bugging then they should quit locking shit and effing around.
so we could dev this phone. lmao!

Hey, salas, do you think yu can try to port the cwm to the ICS using the kexec? I would do it, but I dont know how, and itll take me a while to learn, Im still gonna research about it, see if I can do it. I'll help on whatever I can.

Well I get my laptop sometime early next month. And then cwm will still have to be ported first then we can try K-exec.

Is the Kexec a real solution? From what I've read it loads a new kernel on top of the factor GB one and it has issues with newer android OS, ie ICS and JB being loaded on top of GB...???...anyway not sure how it really works but it doesn't sound as good as having an unlocked bootloader where you can flash custom roms without issue..

I would be more encouraged if we could get the password from Huawei to unlock the mercury. The question that arises is who is wanting it locked...Huawei or Cricket? Are all cricket smartphones locked?...if so, then they are the culprit that is requesting the locking of the phone..Huawei has the unlock bootloader on their website but not for the mercury which is a Cricket specific phone..
