Dont wanna post something obvious but for adb to see your phone you have to have USB debugging turned on in development and unknown sources turned on as well (allow installation of non-market applications) otherwise ADB wont see your phone also the driver that Win-7 picks by default for it doesn't work. You have to uninstall the one it picked and install the ones from the CD or it wont see it in ADB.
I can post them if you need them.

yeah, I did everything It works now and all I did the adb reboot command and grabbed the logcat from my phone via adb but I just dont know how to push or pull files. lol. I tried doing it from steps I found on XDA forums, but it was under the HTC forums and it didnt work. So i thought that maybe it was different on each phone.

Hope this isn't hijacking the thread but how do you get Windows 7 to install the proper drivers? I've tried everything people have said in this thread but I still haven't been able to get Windows to recognize my phone.

    USB Debugging Checked
    Unknown Sources Checked
    ADB Installed
    Fastboot Unchecked
    forks-and-knives Installed & Ran
Uninstalling drivers Windows installs by default.

does it reboot after yu finish installing the knives-and-forks program?
try deleting the drivers on the computer, if it has them, and installing them again by plugin the phone and through the knives-and-forks program again.
If it doesnt have them, then reboot yur phone while connected on the computer.

The installation wizard says "The device driver installation wizard successfully scanned your machine but did not find any devices to be updated". In Windows 'Computer Management', the category of 'disk drives' shows two items called "Android Adapter USB Device". I rebooted my phone while still plugged in and nothing happened.

Edit: It does not reboot after knives and forks is installed.

Delete the two items called "Android Adapter USB device" and plug in yur phone again, it should install the drivers all over again. Check the installation wizard when it pops up and see what installs and what doesn't.

The Drivers are actually IN the phone, comes up as one of the drives, redirect win-7 to search there.
One folder says ADB_DRIVER and the other says USBNET_DRIVER_Win2k_xp,aim it towards those.
    Its in the ADB_DRIVER folder.

Ok, i tried that but it still ends up installing the wrong drivers:

Your device is ready to use:
Android Adapter USB Device - Ready to use
Android Adapter USB Device - Ready to use

    Blaster,

That is where i have been pointing Windows to get the correct drivers from. When i go to 'Devices and Printers' and click on Add Device it says it is searching but does nothing for a long time. When i go to the Add Hardware Wizard and point it to the adb_driver folder from the Mercury, I select 'android_winsub.inf' the drivers that show up are:

    Android ADB Interface
    Android Bootloader Interface
    Android Composite ADB Interface

Trying to install any of them results in a "This device cannot start. (code 10)" error message.
