    Quick root ics????

    Can anyone make a quick root for the new ICS rom? Is it even possible?

    how can it get any quicker then the one posted her already.. You should be asking for a root method from the phone no computer i think ..

    maybe eventually Oriax or one of the others will make a quickroot, but in all honesty the way posted in the other thread was easy to do

    when i did my wife's merc, the root method wasnt up yet

    but i dont see why it wouldnt work if you did a TBP backup and then tried to restore

    It worked for me. At first the apps didn't show up in the app drawer so I restarted, got stuck at a screen that said something like 'optimizing your apps' and after it finally finished they were all there. I only restored the apps by the way, not app+data.
