I just got done installing this ROM and getting my phone all set up. This was so much easier to flash than anything on my Ascend 1. I did a benchmark test with Linpack and there is definitely a performance difference, I was getting about 49-50 MFLOPS when stock now I'm getting 53-54 MFLOPS with the ReVoksTer ROM. Thanks for all the work that went in to this one.

Anyone know what it means if the notification led stays on a steady blue color whenever the phone is in standby? (it doesnt blink) I've never seen this happen before, no usb cable connected etc. seemed to start happening after I missed a call and listened to the voicemail. I deleted it afterwards as well, I never had this happen prior to installing Revokster rom so hopefully it's not a bug, maybe I'm overlooking something.

It just means there's a notification or something that wasn't cleared. Check through everything and make sure nothing is pending. Common on cyanogenmod roms.

Is it possible to remove CarrierIQ from these custom roms? I noticed it's still detected in the Revokster rom.

Does the presence of carrieriq have any negative impacts on performance?

Thanks, despite the brick warnings I got brave and ran the Remove CIQ option in the Logging Test app, it ran for a few seconds and told me to reboot, upon reboot I ran the test app again but it still detects the presence of CIQ, however now when I run the Voodoo CarrierIQ app it says Carrier IQ is present but appears to be inactive so I'm guessing its partially disabled lol. Ill have to do some more reading in the thread you posted.

yes at the bottom it will show log files. After you reboot they are gone or you have ability to delete them. Guess this is why voodoo says its inactive. Just my guess.I Really have not read alot about but i do want it off my phone .AS Well as anything else i did not put on there. I format brand new computers when i get them for this very same reason. We have no private lives no more .
