    UH OH! Please help!

I have effed my Merc. I couldn't update/install apps from play store or from SD. The fixes I found online required a factory reset, which I did, BUT now my Merc WILL NOT boot past the CricKet logo. I have reset and reset with NO GO. I even tried to factory reset it again from CWMR with no success. I just left the CricKet store where they were no help. In fact, I know more about phones than anyone in this particular store. I mean they're idiots, but I digress. I'm still able to get to CWMR, but once I reboot system, it stays on the CricKet logo. I can manipulate the screen on and off with the power button and the volume buttons still go "Dut dut" lol. Please please please someone help me. Will a stock image or recovery image help me? Thanks so much guys!

No I haven't. Where is the rom and how would I get it on my phone? Via SD? I don't have CPU access atm and am writing from my Ascend 2. Is there any way I can fix this issue from recovery via .zip or .img? Please Oriax.

I posted a thread here with the link. Its a zip but youf need wifi to download it. Btw did you make a backup? You can restore from that if you did. #1 rule is to always make a backup just in case.

boot into cwm recovery .. go into advanced .. wipe Dalvik wipe battery stats..
go back to main screen and wipe cashe partition.. There is likely a cache link boot looping you..

if that fails wipe the above then restore your cwm backup. then wipe dalvik again then reboot
the above information is from experience with most android devices. This should work . but not totally TESTED BY ME ON THE MERCURY..
    GOOD LUCK

A lesson I seem to have learned to late, but will never forget again as soon as I fix this issue. I will download it on my ascend and transfer the SD card to my Merc and apply it from recovery. Will that work?
