    If none of the methods described work you will have to get into fastboot and flash a system.img, recovery.img and boot.img to the proper partitions. I don't have this phone, so I don't know how to enter fastboot, but if you can get into it and get the stock rom and extract the .img files you will be able to fix it.

    Also in the future it would be good to remember not to do a factory reset from the settings menu if you have custom recovery. Always factory reset from within custom recovery.

    The pink screen instructions I Believe is Fast boot apx mode . i have not tried . After my phone is A MONTH or so old i will get a bit brave with it. Just reading and watching what IS NOT WORKING .

    Holding my breath for c8860e to get ics. its on some china forums that 2 to 3 weeks that phone is CDMA

    Fastboot is when its stuck on huawei logo

    Download mode is the pink screen.

    You can't flash a recovery through fastboot because the partitions are different then most, it'll give an error saying not found or whatever.

    Well flashing the system and boot image should suffice.. and I'm sure you can flash the recovery if you know the name of the recovery partition.
