    Usb host?

Can anyone verify if the merc (with stock rom, rooted or not) has usb hosting capabilities? I dont have a micro to standard usb (female) connector, otherwise id check myself since i cant seem to find any literature confirming this. Thanks

I read that it wasnt till later android versions, but then again I've read other things that say 2.3x can:

i could be wrong/misunderstanding tho. But i also read that as long as your phone has "USB mass storage" it'll work (which is what it says when i connect my phone to ps3, mac, pc, ect.).
