    flahing evo shift

i took my evo shift to get it flashed through cricket, but said they could not do it. im currently on miui and i think that is the reason it could not be done. i would rather flash it myself than have to pay someone to do it for me. is there anyone that could point me in the right direction?

Dial ##3424#. Does it go into "DM Command Service"?

you have to get the SPC first before you can flash any phone from Sprint the thing about HTC's is that it is easy to get it ... like Chris said put in ##diag# then hit send get the drivers to load then use CDMA WS to read the SPC then you are in business ...

I'm thinking MIUI might have the ##3424# feature taken out. Seems like this user has come and go though.

You need to be on a sense based Rom to use the ## commands. If anybody is having this problem just flash a sense Rom then program the phone a you can now switch to a aosp Rom such as miui.

Send from my HTC EVO powered by MikG v2.2

I just flashed my shift over to cricket today. ive been here all weekend making sure not to mess it up. thanks to chrisngrod's sticky i was able to pull it off. Thanks once again. I was getting tired of my Huawei Ascend.

    Now a few questions...
After the flash my market doesnt work? I get an network error. Is there a fix or remedy to this?
Any incoming text that i recieve are 1 hour behind. But sent are on time. Ive tried adjusting settings and rebooting but to no success. Any suggestions?
Also I take it there is no root option available atm for 2.3.3 users? I cant wait for the day.

I know one thing about the sms hour behind. Download SMS Time Fix once you get the market going. You can adjust the settings from there.

As long as you are on the 55 dollar Android plan, you shouldn't have problems with the Market. The one we flashed was on 2.2, but the 2.3.3 should function similar to the EVO 3D.

I don't see a permanent root available for 2.3 yet.

Would u suggest i try flashing the shift using the 3d's method?
My market is working but only over a wi-fi connection, is this normal after flash?
How would i be able to make sure im on the $55 Android plan and have not been moved to the "All in 55"?
How could I be of any help to the forum? I would be more than glad to assist any way possible, and once again thanks.
