Exclamation $55 android plan not available, really?!

So my girlfriend just moved in and I convinced her to switch to cricket, just so it'd be easier to pay her bill and her to have reasonable service up here.

Long story short, I've flashed 7x Sprint HTC Evo 4g LTE's to cricket without a hitch.
This one is a little different, because the cricket store nearby AND the 1-800 is telling me the $50/$55 android plan with 3g web data isn't available anymore!?

Said only the $35 and $45 is available for CDMA phones. Bull crap, then how am I and seven other people still on it? Just a grandfathered secret?! I understand within the year we'll need to switch to the GSM network, but for the next couple months, why the heck can't we just roll with that plan?

Any private dealers on here that could help me please?

whats going on is that are SLOWLY Phasing out CDMA, Sometime around March 2015, they will start to KILL OFF CDMA, meaning any one with a Cricket Device & or Flashed CDMA on Cricket will no longer work. Period. just stops... what is going on right now... is they are offering a Trade in Program so you can trade in ur Old Cricket CDMA to get credit to get a new Cricket GSM phone.

but its a rip & a off. best to sell it on craigslist.

anyway to the point they are still offering $50/$55 Plan CPE Android in Select Markets. my market is still offering it but from what i can tell you wont get the area code u want only 559

if ur device is not lost/stolen u can place it on Red Pocket Sprint ( No Contract & No Credit Check )
if ur device supports 4G & or LTE u will get it as well as MMS & Web

    Go Red Pocket - Plans

its worth a look.... just helping to keep ur options open!
