    iOS = no fragmentation
    Android = massive fragmentation

    iOS = not dev. friendly
    Android = overly dev. friendly

    iOS = the smart OS for dummies
    Android = the smart OS not so much for dummies kinda but more leaning towards the hacker developer

    iOS = previously expensive monthly charges plus carrier restrictions (yes we all know you can unlock flash and do what you must to work around)
    Android = previously reasonable monthly charges every carrier has one

    iOS = consistent compatibility and devices
    Android = great devices, shitty devices, mid level devices, some do this, some dont do that (Fragmentation)

    iOS is for people that just want everything to work, period
    Android is for "reverse engineering tweakers" that just like to copy someone else's work and slap their name on it

    EDIT: hackers was wrong term to use

    ok, fixed original post

    i don't pass judgement, i just base opinions on the facts i have read/seen/heard

    Android was created by google based off of what Schmidt learned at apple during his term there, apps for android are constantly being ripped off and being REPOSTED on the same marketplace under a new name and different "developer"

    don't get me wrong, i will never own any kind of iCrap, but the facts point to the same conclusion Android = iCrap reingineered

    Agreed to a point, but the rip off rev. engineering would apply to anything that computes being ripped of from binary. In the end its all regurgitated.

    Yeah, this thread is a bit trollish, whether intentionally or not.

    That said, I have to comment on one of the responses. Many devs actually say developing for iOS is a pleasure in comparison to developing for Android.

    I wanted to know what others think of this question. This questin was brought up several other times in public and no one could give a good explained or just simple answer.

    Most answered; iPhone is just better in every way.
