Best Buy - Our Visit and Circulars (9/25/2011)

We're going to revisit Best Buy today in Columbus, GA and see if they have the ZTE Score up. We will probably also purchase one. The thread will be updated after that. I just wanted to post the circulars from today. The main circular only shows the Vitality, but the Mobile Phone Buyer's Guide circular shows 3 devices.

Since these are BB phones and on the Sprint MVNO deal, I'd be curious about the prl. I may have to hit BB here and see if they have them. I'd pick one to learn too.

Why does it matter what the PRL is? It's not like we'd want to put it on our phones because then our coverage wouldn't be as good. I'm just wondering. Thanks.

I am curious because the stuff sold at BB is on the Sprint MVNO deal. It is rumored that these phones will only work on Sprint coverage. PRL version would confirm this.

I am not looking to use the prl, trust me. Trying to ascertain whether or not the rumors are true.

PRL is 4637. It's been giving that generic PRL so that you can *228 from anywhere. This makes sense. I should have seen this coming.

According to phone arena it operates in these bands:

    • Network technology:
      • CDMA:
        • 800, 1700/2100, 1900

This probably means that it's going to pickup a normal Cricket PRL.

That doesn't make any sense to me, because the PAYGo coverage map is strictly Sprint's coverage, not Cricket's. There is a spot in my area without coverage that is usually covered by Cricket. The only thing that I think could make a difference is the Best Buy PAYGo compared to the other nationwide PAYGo (areas where there is just the Huawei Pillar). I really would think PAYGo is the same regardless of if it is Best Buy or not.
