    Cricket Now Available Nationwide

    Cricket is now available nationwide!

    I just put in a zip code for Boston, Massachusetts, and Cricket is available now.

    There are two plans, one for $25/month, and another for $35/month.

    Here are the plans:

    I just realized there isn't roaming available on these plans. That's too bad.

    It looks like it's strictly Sprint's network. You can't even use Cricket if you're in a Cricket market.

    In these areas Cricket is operating like an MVNO but this will help them expand their own network and establish a nationwide customer base and name recognition. Its great news.

    Yeah, now when I mention Cricket people won't be confused because it will most likely be available where they live too.

    I can't wait to see what else is coming soon.

    I think it's going to be great! My grandma and Mom hear me talk about it often. I think I can convince my grandma on switching from Verizon to Cricket. Much cheaper. Too bad my mom just got T-Mobile like two days ago. I would've convinced her. Haha
    *Please PM me ONLY if you have posted in the forum, and I have not replied. Thank you.*

    Wanna know how I became a SuperMod?? I got engaged to the creator of the site. (;

    Yeah but I think Sprint isn't the big dog there. They probably need to be able to connect to verizon towers. I want to see if they roll out some new prls for these areas. Cricket will have to extend their roaming agreement with Sprint so this should guarantee that we have coverage in the future. I'm happy with the announcement.

    and type in your zip code. I have friends out in California and it's available for them!

    Keep in mind, if it's the "new Cricket" (that's what I'm going to call it..) then only two plans are available, and they're not for Android or Muve Music. There should be more plans coming out soon though. I'd say by the holiday season there will be phones out.
