cricket prepaid refill cards to pay monthly bill?

I know with boost mobile you can use prepaid refill cards to pay your monthly bill, is it the same with cricket. I'm on the 45 a month plan and would I be able to just go to a store, but cricket refill card and call 611 or whatever to add funds to my account?

Cricket refill cards are for Paygo only. They wont work for regular monthly accounts.

I think he's talking about the Visas refillable debit card.

Yes. At stores that take credit/debit for payment you can use them. Over the phone is questionable as it will depend if the card passes Crickets fraud checks which usually includes address verification. When you setup the card, make sure they use the same address as your Cricket account.

If you are going to go to the store to buy the refill card (if what you want would actually work) why not just go to a Cricket store and pay your bill? You're way would be adding a step. It's all moot at this point but what would have been the advantage?
