Exclamation The end of every flashed user for cricket is nigh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cricket is cutting service to all flashed phones in november.
now they're saying it might be next month to coincide with the iphone launch
becoming a closed system like verizon. only there own phones, no exceptions.

Now the thing I need from anyone is How to
overwrite specific radio locks to be able to use the Droid 3/Razr with a us based sim carrier
    like simple mobile (

SIMPLE Mobile | Unlimited Cell Phone Plans

    )

OR if there is any way to keep myself on cricket I'd much more appreciate that if there is a workaround

Thanks and good luck to you all.

The only reason there not letting outside iphones is cause iphone and cricket signed a paper or what ever saying there iphones must be on there carrier and thats it!!! Its not them slowing drifting away from flashed phones! i just got a text from cricket 5555 number telling me if i refer a verizon or sprint friend and they transfer they will give me 25 dollar credit! so there not moving to a close network! and the droid has sim releated issuies , but there are plenty of phones out there that a flashable and will be flashable!

    go to google and ask:
is cricket going to stop allowing flashed phones!

this isnt the first time this has poped up in YEARS! Cricket relies on this, and promotes this! Only thing i see that would stop this if the rumored att buying out leap comes true! Other then that, the iphone flashing not allowing esns from other carriers is just cause of a signed agreement with apple and leap/cricket. and stated the droid is just hardware issues with sim and lte and all that stuff that can be worked around

Cricket will not disconnect 40% of their business. Sorry this is just a recycled rumor.

Thank you both of you, honestly I was thinking the same thing why would cricket just disband most of their clientele for a fuckin' icrap lol

Either way it would be nice to get some info on how to actually rewrite the radio locks on hte sim/phone for know how if someone does know or have a starting point to go off of that would be nice ^_^

Apparently not, unless you work for cricket and can self change your phone,
they will know if the esn is not a cricket icrap and disband you.

Unless you work for cricket and ade willing to lose your job. One more thing, as soon as flashed iphone is scanned system will know iys not a cricket esn, and will not allow the $55 smart plan to be added.

I'll believe this when I see it. Cricket has said all sorts of things like this in the past and none of them have come true.
What youre saying is that Apple is going to give Cricket a list of ALL it's CDMA iPhones, worldwide, so that no meid except a cricket iphone can be added or activated. Sure thats possible. Probable, not so much.

If that were the case why does the model list in CID have cpe iphones? what would be the point of adding those models?

Until it has been proven, I am gonna stick with my contention that it's just more BS from Cricket. Only 3 more days till we find out.

Hmhm just as most would think to get fired for doing it but it does most certainly happen without repercussions at times,

And it's that cricket only wants designated crapple products, but if this is true or untrue I'm just worried about the good phones lol

Well it came right from the training. And if you are a dealer you should know this if you attended the training. But you don't have to believe me, just wait until Friday. Cheers

Yes and everything written in the training docs is indisputable fact. Hardly.

When I worked for Cricket I use to WRITE training docs.

But yes, Friday we will find out.

I'm betting cricket will eventually deny bad esn phones to reduce theft. But flashed or jailbroke phones will be ok to use. ...just guessing.
