    FAQ: How do I use call forwarding / waiting?

    What is Call Forwarding?



    Call forwarding allows Cricket customers to send all of their incoming calls to another landline or wireless number within their local exchange (area code/prefix).

    How much does Call Forwarding cost?



    Call forwarding is included in certain Cricket rate plans.

    For plans that do not include call forwarding in the monthly price, the feature can be added for an additional monthly fee. If you would like to add call forwarding to your monthly service simply log into
    My Account


    and click on "Add New Features."

    Call forwarding is included in select Cricket rate plans. If you are new to Cricket, click here to see

    What is Call Waiting?



    This feature enables you to accept incoming calls while talking on your Cricket phone. When you are on a call, you will hear a tone alerting you that there is another call coming in.

    How do I use Call Waiting?



    To use call waiting, press the SEND key after you hear the tone indicating that a second call is coming to your line. The first caller will be placed on hold while you answer the second call. Once you have completed the second call, press the SEND key to return to the first caller.

    How do I use the "Busy Line Call Forwarding" feature with my Cricket phone number?



    To use busy line call forwarding, complete the following steps:

    1. Dial *73 followed by the ten digit phone number (555-555-5555) you would like your calls to be forwarded to.
    2. Press the SEND button.
    3. You will hear a tone and your call will terminate automatically.
    4. All incoming calls to your Cricket phone number will now be forwarded to the number you selected.
    5. To turn the feature off, dial *730 and press the SEND button.
    6. You will hear a tone and your call will terminate automatically.
    7. You will now receive calls as normal to your Cricket phone number.

    How do I use the "Call Forwarding No Answer" feature with my Cricket phone number?



    To use call forwarding no answer, complete the following steps:

    1. Dial *74 followed by the ten digit phone number (555-555-5555) you would like your calls to be forwarded to.
    2. Press the SEND button.
    3. You will hear a tone and your call will terminate automatically.
    4. All incoming calls to your Cricket phone number will now be forwarded to the number you selected.
    5. To turn the feature off, dial *740 and press the SEND button.
    6. You will hear a tone and your call will terminate automatically.
    7. You will now receive calls as normal to your Cricket phone number.

    How do I use the "Unconditional Call Forwarding" feature with my Cricket phone number?



    To use unconditional call forwarding, complete the following steps:

    1. Dial *72 followed by the ten digit phone number (555-555-5555) you would like your calls to be forwarded to.
    2. Press the SEND button.
    3. You will hear a tone and your call will terminate automatically.
    4. All incoming calls to your Cricket phone number will now be forwarded to the number you selected.
    5. To turn the feature off, dial *720 and press the SEND button.
    6. You will hear a tone and your call will terminate automatically.
    7. You will now receive calls as normal to your Cricket phone number.

    I posted it because of this message on Cricket's Facebook, and sorry if you're reading this man. You called Cricket out because you didn't know how to set it up properly. Cricket isn't perfect, but I'm going to defend them against people wrongfully saying they need to do this or that.

    when i use call forwording it oinly give me like a 2 sec tp put the number in and it dont give a min even put the number that you like to call to be forworded to cricket you need to work on making call forwording a bet more better so pepole to have time to push the phone number to be forworded to 2 sec dont cut it
