When you're throttled, that means you've most likely used more data than what comes with your plan, and because of that, you will experience slower speeds.

There is something called a "soft cap" and a "hard cap". With a soft cap, your service will slow down, but it will continue to work. With a hard cap, your service will stop working, or you will start to experience overages.

Cricket has a soft cap on most of their plans. For example, on the Android plan, there is a soft cap at 1 GB. After you use 1 GB of data, you will be "throttled". You will then experience slower internet speeds for the remainder of your billing cycle.
