    HOWTO: International Texting with Cricket

    Need to text someone in another country? Just follow the guide below:

    For texts to the US, Canada, or the Caribbean enter the telephone number in the following format:
    1 + area code + phone number (Ex: 1 78712345678)

    For all other international telephone numbers enter in the following format:
    011 + country code + city code + phone number (Ex: 011 52551234567)

    Mexico: 52
    Japan: 81

    I am on the Cricket $45 plan, I live in the United States (Denver, CO) If I text an Australian cell phone and they text me, are there fee's?

    There would be no fees as cricket is a prepaid service! I.e. you pay for services then you use them.

    I called Cricket and they said Unlimited International Texting was included.

    But Raymond, if I make a call while my phone says Roaming won't I be charged?
