Leap's answer to the 1gb data cap

I thought this might inspire some lively conversation. I found this in a recent press release.

Cricket will also introduce premium price plans next year that would allow customers to boost data speeds after they had passed their limit, Hutcheson said.
"If they use up their bucket of high speed data, they'll be able to buy that back up," he said.

Good news huh? Hopefully sooner than later.

Great news, I was actually thinking of suggesting this, based on popular demand (of course they have heard it a million times but every thought counts).. seems like they're way ahead of me.

    I like to speculate..

I don't know where to start though.

I don't completely understand the quote. Maybe you can help me out Woof. What do you think it means?

It means if you hit your 1gb limit you'll be able to open it back up for a fee. Say $5 to up your limit til your next cycle. Of course no word on if it will be one time like in the flex bucket or if it will be a recurring bolt on to the normal bill. Who knows they might offer both.

Yeah, that is what I was thinking, maybe it would take away from Flex Bucket. Now, I thought I read somewhere about throttling. I wonder if they will have different plans with different levels of throttling.
