Mobile Data Usage which I'm not using? Huh? Weird? HELP!

    Hi USERS,

Well I'm back with yet another frustrating call to cricket. Seems like they are not knowledgeable at all! I don't know why I even bother to call...

Well enough complaining so here is the scenario:

I connected cricket service with an HTC Evo Shift for the first time on August 23 (see attachment) then I sold it and connected an Samsung galaxy S on August 31.

I haven't been able to fully flash my Galaxy S mesmerize to cricket so I'm not able to connect to any data (internet, gps, ect.) SMS and talk worked just fine. Plus the past 5 days my phone was bricked and I had to make a usb jig to unbrick it.

To summarize everything...I haven't used DATA since August 31 however I'm being quoted on it (see attachment) I sold the htc evo shift to someone that is currently using it with cricket.

What is going on? Is there a way that our data is getting mixed?

    Hope someone has some input

Did you change your data profile on the evo shift before you sold it? Did the new owner change it to his? More than likely is that he is using your username and password whithout him knowing....

Yeah, but in my experience it's never been that far off. It's usually pretty accurate.

There have been people reporting both phones working after they switched them, but I'm not sure if that included data. The suggestion was to go into the manual programming menu and change the MDN and MIN to something generic. The phone should then reset and it shouldn't have service anymore. If the phone is already sold, it's too late for that. If the problem is that, it should stop soon. I think it usually only goes on for a few days.

You can try calling Cricket to see if they can tell you the ESN that is on the account. Just verify that it's correct.

Does anyone else have any ideas?
