Muve Paygo Plans with Unlimited Data?

This was posted on Facebook by Cricket, CW Westminster!

If you check MyCricket.com you will see that the Android plan for the Muve phones has the same 1GB limit that the normal Android plan does. It states here that the Paygo plan has unlimited data though... Which plan would you choose? Is 1,000 minutes enough for you? It's 10 dollars less also...

I'm guessing some Android users will migrate over to Paygo and use this plan just to get unlimited data without surfing through a proxy.... There might be more complications, but we won't know until the first person posts their results. Not suggesting you do this, but I'm thinking someone will.

I think PAYGo on Cricket's side is 3G but I'm not sure about on Sprint's side. The Huawei Pillar is only 1x capable from what I've seen.

I really don't think they will allow you to go on of these plans with an android.. in fact I know it will be damn near impossible.

I'm also quite sure the unlimited data still has the 1gb cap for browsing, but unlimited for downloading songs over muve.. Which is true for the regular muve AFAIK.

Why don't you think they will allow Android?

I think they will. If they're allowing Muve Music Android for $55/month, I would think regular Android would be available for $45/month (since Muve Music is usually $10 more than the regular plans).

Yeah, I agree, I think the data will just be unlimited. By the way, how do they know the difference between music download data and regular data? I'm guessing the Muve Music application is set up somehow so the data doesn't register.

Muve music downloads to your phone from certain servers at cricket.

They add the ip addresses of these servers to an ignore list so the data used when connected one of these servers does not count as your monthly data consumption.

Shazam's severs are also added to the same list because it is considered part of the muve music subscription.
