Angry my cricket phone is acting up

my cricket msgm8 phone is acting up. I saw my nephew chewing on the phone, but I took it away from him. The phone was fine for a few days and now the buttons don't work like there suppose to. Such as, the call button, if pressed goes to the texting window, or if you press the letters they do something else, and so on. Now, the microphone doesn't work much either, apparently my voice is very low to people calling me. My question is, can I switch to a different phone without changing my plan or phone number? and does someone know where there is a cricket store in state college?
