    Phone warranty

    My daughter purchased a Kyrocero Rio from Cricket about 3 weeks ago,..and now the phones touchscreen doesn't work,..how much hassle is it gonna be to get Cricket to warrant the phone?(she doesn't have Cricket insurance)...and what's involved,..if anyone has any tips,etc....Thanks in advance...

    It should be easy for them to swap it out if you got it at a cricket store. If you purchase it online its pain in the butt.

    Ok,..we went today,..all went smooth,..no hassle,..but, low and behold,... had to pay a surprising "Warranty Fee" OMG!...$20...unbelievable! (purchased through a main store locally) Is that in the Fine-Print?....

    If your purchase is over 30 days that fee is normal. Most corp stores will do it for 10 or free in the first 30, but not all. The fee is to cover their expense in sending it back to the manufacturer. Plus they gave you a new phone.
    Or you could save the fee and send it back yourself and wait for it to be fixed and returned to you. That'd be 10-15 for shipping and how many weeks w/o a phone.

    $20 dont seem like much to me when faced with that choice.

    It's all good,...business is business,...just wasn't expecting the "FEE"!

    Most time there is no fee in the first 30 days, wish as a dealer we could charge a fee in the first 30 days for doas. lol
