It would help a lot if you posted what site or app to use.

wow nobody wants to share their speed test results. I'd like to see other peoples results so I'm going to try to bring this thread back to life.

this is an average unthrottled result for me

    Test App: speedtest.net mobile
Plan: PayGo $1 per day plan
    PRL: Cricket35313Sprint60678_MyCricketForum.PRL
    Location: Lincoln, NE
    Server Location: Norfolk, NE
Distance From Server: 148 km (98 miles)
    Ping: 594ms
    Download: 614kbps
    Upload: 487kbps
    screenshot_2.jpg

When i travel and am closer to a server to test i get much higher results. With the Hybrid PRL my speed is about double the original PRL
I also live in an old area that is cluttered with above ground power lines I get better speeds when I'm away from the power lines.

This is from downtown Austin. It's a new month so the Droid X on the left was definitely not throttled. My Droid 2 on the right was using the proxy.
Please check the forum and post there before PMing me. I have over 674 unread PMs due to the fact that they are issues which should have been addressed here.

I think the X was on 45513 hybrid and the 2 was on the 457xx or whatever hybrid. I don't think you'd ever see speeds much higher than this while going through the proxy.

Same here but normally test from 550-650 kbps and the Droid x was proxy and was around 1000.

Keep in mind I live in a Tri-band area and 3G is almost always full strength where I live. -While tethering from my Huawei Ascend to my AMD AthlonII x4 640 @3.8GHz -not that it matters, just for testing purposes the highest I got the other day on speakeasy was 2.81Mbps
..Good enough to run youtube 480p without a hitch lagged while doing 720p

2.81mb? Umm what test gave you that number? I've never seen a cricket test result higher then 1.5-1.7mbps max
I get full signal bars all day and get 850kbps max (proxy tho on my phone) and my friend tops at 1.5mbps area on $55plan ascend

Ive had one "speed test" web site tell me I was topping out at 2mbps but I know that was a load of bull molarkie.

Hi can do 480p on my droid on youtube with the low speed I get. 720P not so well unless I give a min before I let it play
