Question Question about using an unlocked android device with Cricket.

I've always bought carrier specific phones in the past so forgive me if this is a silly question..

Could I buy the new Moto G 2nd gen model direct from Motorola's website (unlocked gsm) and use it on Cricket without any restrictions?

    Thanks.

As long as it's a GSM phone, and not a CDMA. I would double check the frequencies/bands to make sure it is compatible with AT&T's network. I would think it would be coming from Motorola.

Yup, just need to input the APN settings when you connect to the network. I was also thinking about purchasing this phone. It wouldn't surprise me if it eventually ends up being offered on Cricket for purchase. Obviously if that happens, it won't be unlocked.
