    T-Mobile...

Not for sure if this is allowed here or has been discussed (I did a quick search and didn't see anything) but what do you think of T-Mobile dropping contracts to be all pre-paid now? Is this going to sway Cricket users to leave?

I don't think so. I think you still need a credit check to get the service.

The advertised down payment prices are only for the better qualified customers. Anyone with less than stellar credit could be faced with a higher down payment.

In all honesty there are some reasonably priced smartphones out there that should fit the needs of most people. Take for example the LG optimus L9 which can be had for the monthly 4G price of $199.

Putting phones aside the fact that cricket is on a cdma network alone means better roaming opportunities even if it means paying per minute which is better than having no service at all.

I can tell you right now being in Houston, T-Mobile's 4G LTE is horrible. Only reason I'm with them is because I got a Note 2 for a deal I couldn't pass up. I connect no problem but the speeds are down right highway robbery. Only getting 5500 dl and 1400 up. Let me be near a T-Mo store and I hit the 20s...

    I don't think T-Mobile has LTE

They do. It's limited afaik and most of their 4g markets are LTE if I'm not mistaken

My work on the CDMA Cricket S3 and S4 are now obsolete. Thanks for all the support when I was actively working on them!
