    Time for a GSM Flashing Section?

    Since Cricket has moved to GSM wouldn't it be a good idea to update the forums to add a GSM flashing section?
    Many LTE Phones from CDMA carriers are going to work (without LTE) plus T-Mobile phones should be able to be unlocked and moved over.

    Time to give us something new to play with.

    i would not called it [ FLASHING ] Section since Flashing leans more to.... Verizon, Sprint, US cellular, boost, vrigin to Cricket, Page Plus, other and really nothing to do with GSM< its best to keep the names correct so we dont confuse people./

    i get people in my store allllllll the time passing out the wrong TERMS, saying i want to root my iphone, i look at them like WTF?
    or they say i want to unlock my boost to cricket im like WTF?
    or i want to flash my AT&T to cricket before the new cricket gsm

    so using the wrong names and terms will really mess up the whole term system.

    Flashing = CDMA
    BYOD/BYOP = GSM as well as CDMA lol
    UNLOCKING = Take T-Mobile to AT&T or AT&T to T-Mobile or Unlock to other sim
    ROOT = ANDROID
    Jailbreak = iPhone
    i think you get it now... so now you would change the title to

    Time for a GSM BYOD Section? Unlock, BYOD

    Flashing = editing system software to allow a phone to be used on different networks.

    Unocking = entering a code or changing a setting to allow a phone to be used on different networks.

    At least that's the way I percieve it so if I'm moving a Verizon Phone to Cricket GSM isn't that flashing?
