    Droid x2 mms

Here is the issue. I'm not sure if this is a cricket service issue in general or if it is related to the droid x2.

I flashed my phone and everything seemed to be working. I can call, text, surf the internet. The only spotty service seems to be MMS. I can occassionally send and recieve picture mail. However, not all the time. Intermittently it goes in and out. My question is just to understand what could be failing in the process.

MMS works with the apn. The apn tells cricket that it is ok for this handset to send and receive data across their network.

I just wonder why all services work pretty well accept MMS.

    Any insight would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

    Droid X2

ive done a few phones and the X2's all give me trouble with mms.

BUT mostly sending / receiving from/to a cricket phone.

its like i sent a pic, even after days keeps sending it and nothing...

then i get a picture and somehow the one im sending suddenly goes out.

Ive sent mms (picture) to metro,at&t etc.. and they arrive .

in a Droid and a htc phone mms work right away and faster than the X2 (in my experience thou)

Im sure is about some settings were not aware of.

OHH MY 2 X2'S are on the 45 plan using greenk Pro. And now that i think about it, the other phones are in the 55 plan....

Forgot to report back that I have seemed to fix my MMS problem.
1: I had to get cricket to provision my service right on their in. It was partially configured or something crazy.
2: after researching online I decided to use a little different apn settings this seems to have helped a lot.
I'm on the 55 plan btw

Here is how I set the apn:

    Name: Verizon Internet
    APN: VZWINTERNET
    Proxy: not set
    Port: not set
    Username:**********@mycricket.com
    Password: cricket
    Server: wap.mycricket.com
    MMSC:
    http://mms.mycricket.com/servlets/mms?x-cricket=mdn

=***_***_**** (* are your phone number)
    MMS Port: 8080
    MCC: 310
    MNC: 004
    Authentication type: PAP or CHAP
    APN type: default,mms

This apn setting seems to have helped with sending and receiving...HAPPY FLASHING

I believe it's a hyphen, not an equals sign, before mdn; and no underscore or hyphen is needed in the phone number..
