    Droid X2 Update Questions

I picked up a Droid X2 last month, and had it flashed to Cricket, so far I love it...The only issue I've come up against is updating the OS...

I'm currently running the stock GB 2.3.4, I know there are three (3) updates (5, 6, & 7)...I've checked these updates out and there doesn't seem to be much I'd be missing, other than a claim of better battery efficiency and improved Gmail app.

Is there a way to install these updates without having to do a factory reset and then re-flashing to cricket? Are these updates really just minor fixes, or am I missing out?

If there isn't a way to update with out losing my flash, should I just wait until dragonzkiller (a great developer) comes out with a stable ICS hack for the X2 and they pay for a re-flash?

Thanks in advance for any advice...
