Just wanted to say thanks to the OP for this tutorial. I picked up a used E3D last week and flashed it with no problems.

No need for a fix, MMS works perfectly. See my thread about ViperROM for details.

great already did that per some posts here a couple pages back.

now since you know about flashing ROMs, how do i make this permanent when i'm a flashaholic? or do i have to flash the phone every time i flash a new rom? when i flash new rom i do a modified superwipe then synergy 3d evo.zip, or something along those lines, then install my rom. when i did this i lost all flashed settings, it was all restored to the original sprint number and settings. am i missing something?

also just wanted to give major kudos for all the hard work puting this guide together. followed it step by step and got everything working on my first try, now just testing the PRL i tried, i'm not sure i'm getting the best speed but dialing *228 gave me a voice saying the code i dialed was invalid or something.

No, you don't have to reflash to Cricket every time. All those settings you did in QPST stay in place when you flash a ROM. The only thing that gets screwed up is the MMS settings, which you can fix in ##DATA# (or for 2.3 ROMS you had to usually flash the Cricket MMS fix from Recovery).

I am LOVING Android 4.0 BTW

Really? That's weird. I've flashed at least a dozen ROMs on my Evo4G and have now flashed 3 on my Evo3D and I never once lost my Cricket programming. Talk/SMS/Web never failed; I'd just have to fix MMS on the new ROM.

I guess if that's the case just make a backup in QPST and then restore it when you flash a ROM. You really shouldn't have to do that though.

What is your HBOOT version? Did you root using the Revolutionary method?

I wonder if that's the difference... I'm on HBOOT 1.4, Revolutionary. I don't know enough about flashing to say for sure if that's the case though.

Under setting, calls, it has a voicemail options. Make sure u in mob behavior: simply only. Make sure that cdma tab, misi is change to ur min #. What sure that ur plan isn't on something or has something off. A lot of factors have to play in for the phone work great.
