    im trying to root my evo 3D but revolutionary tells me that my phone is not supported.somebody please help me im trying to upgrade to the $45 plan.

    trying to get on the $45 plan,but evo 3d wont let me root.i did it once but i think it failed.phone stop responding,so i rebooted manually.now when i tryed to root once again,i get a message on revolutionary saying "Device Not Supported"
    how can i fix this issue?

    Your going to have to try unlocking it to get root.
    HTCdev - Unlock Bootloader




    Follow the the instruction and you will be ok.

    After you unlock it what's next, I have 2.3.4 bootloader 1.5 and the revolutionary website has options only for 1.4 and 1.3?

    Install superuser and u have root. Put file in the root of sd and install from recovery. Enjoy

    su-2.3.6.3.zip

    My Evo 3D is on HBOOT 1..5 so I did the HTC Unlock and got Superuser installed, still no mms and no internet, I'm on the $45 plan.. what else can I try?

    has instructions to root, add custom recoveries, add kernels, ROMs, etc


    and yes, you can root hboot 2.18 and above, use same instructions as hboot 1.5

    ok, i got it, now a can't root my 3d,the program revolutionary send a error: " invalid beta key, aborting"...........some ideas, please.

    Do not copy and paste type it in as it shows you that air is because you're putting zero where an Oh should be or vice a versa
