Did they give you a reason why?

That doesn't make any sense to me either.

    Where do you live???

Try visiting an authorized dealer, because either you're in a Triband only area, or customer service doesn't know what they're talking about.

I would think they would actually want you on the $55 plan because they would make more money that way.

Calling is your problem. You need to visit a store and have your account set up there and they will put your flashed phone on the 55 android plan.

Are you trying to stay on paygo or switch to the regular 55 plan?

It's because st Louis is aws. They won't do a flashed phone. You will have to start the account with a cricket phone then switch.

The flashed phone shouldn't be used in an AWS network at all though, bmckinney212. It would be best to use a Cricket phone in that area.

AWS is "Advanced Wireless Service" and is the technology Cricket uses. It is CDMA 1,700 Mhz and CDMA 2,100 Mhz. That is Cricket's network in your area. A flashed phone typically just has 850 Mhz and 1900 Mhz. So, you're actually using Sprint's network as roaming, not Cricket's network. Eventually your service will probably be disconnected.

Who told you that you could use a flashed phone with Cricket in your area? Is there a dealer that told you about it? I find people on Craigslist saying they can flash phones to Cricket, even though it's not compatible with the network. Did you get one of them to flash it for you?

Well my phone runs on 850,900, 1700,2100 bands in St Louis.

So wouldn't that be the same thing?

I flashed it myself and everything works.

Google search be nexus s 4 g bands.
    It runs on the same.

Well phone scoop say it runs on 800 and 1900 so who knows all I know is that it works.
