Going to post a quick message before I go to sleep. I was pulling my hair out trying to flash my Sprint Nexus S for the past two days. Kept getting busy signals, couldn't get *223 to work, collect call messages, or other validation error messages. I signed up for remote flash and it was worth every penny. In fact, Chris is getting another donation on the way tmw. He's a professional. Let him do his job, and you'll be taken care of. Plus, you can watch what he's doing. IMHO, it's a waste of time getting a flash from some those creeps on craigslist.

id love to have working mms on ice cream sandwich.. if its 5 dollars like the gingerbread fix and it works, the dev could definitely make hella cash. let me know if he needs a beta tester, ive got experience in flashing all kinds of roms and testing alpha builds.

It's just an apk you replace your stocker with. They cannot be installed side-by-side in ICS. You don't have to set APN's or any of that.

The simplest method of using ICS Messaging for Cricket:
    1. Open up your chosen ROM in 7zip
    2. Navigate to /system/app/
    3. Delete Mms.apk
    4. Replace with Messaging for Cricket apk
    5. Copy to device
    6. Flash like any other ROM

I am trying to find a way to allow side-by-side installs, which is why I haven't said much about the ICS MMS. I hope that clears up any questions you had.

Yes, you could just replace it and set permissions, either way is fine. I am not sure what there is to try, it's tested & works like a charm.

Contact me via PM / Google Talk / Google + if you would like to discuss things further.

I can't find the drivers on the samsung website....all they are offering under the downloads section are user manuals.
