Flash Nexus S 4G on ICS Rom

    Hey everyone,
Thanks in advance for any help. I'm wondering if I can flash my nexus 4G to cricket on Ice Cream Sandwich?

Return the device to stock, flash it to Cricket, then flash ICS ROM.

    Flashed Nexus S 4G

What would be wrong if you just flash to http://goo.gl/ub3Mn for example I have currently CM7 2.3.5 and want to flash to ICS.

Would something go wrong if I dont flash to an official rom first?

Custom ROM's don't have means of communicating with your PC for CDMA programming. If you can get a COM port using a custom ROM, then it should work in theory.

I think I know what you mean. I had my nexus on sprint with a customer rom CM7 nightlys. So I rooted -> flashed CM7 -> flashed to cricket (using the sticky tutorial) = working. This breadcrumb leads me to think that I could could repeat the process with any rom by using the sticky mentioned.
