Cricket Wireless

, the AT&T-owned prepaid company,
announced yesterday

that it will be adding yet another Windows phone to its prepaid phone line up. The Lumia 640 is a 4G LTE-ready phone that is aimed at mid-range users and boasts a pretty decent camera for the price as well as several other free add-ons when you purchase it new.
The Lumia 640 itself is definitely not a flagship but is designed to get the job done. The phone has a modest 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor and 1 GB of RAM which should be able to handle most basic tasks. The device comes with 8 GB of memory and a microSD card slot for expanding memory. It boasts an 8 MP back camera and a front camera as well as a replaceable battery.
