AT&T’s prepaid brand*Cricket Wireless
announced today


that it will be carrying the new 4G LTE version of the Moto E starting this Friday, March 13. This phone will be the first Lollipop device that Cricket will carry and it should be available both online and in stores. While the Moto E is still an entry-level device, this phone is still a pretty good deal for the expected price point.
The second generation Moto E makes some improvements over the first edition including liquid-repellent technology to protect the phone against small splashes and spills, a front-facing camera and, most importantly, LTE support. Cricket uses AT&T’s LTE network, which is currently the second largest in the nation. The Moto E LTE is expected to cost around $129.99.

  • Android 5.0 Lollipop
  • 1.2 GHz quad-core processor
  • 1 GB RAM
  • 8 GB storage
  • micro SD slot (up to 32 GB)
  • 3G/4G LTE
  • 5 MP back camera
