Consider it a bit of a rebirth. Cricket's premiere smartphone, the
    Huawei Mercury

    -- known elsewhere as the
    Honor

-- has just taken on a new life as a member of the carrier's Muve Music lineup. Beginning today, current owners may add the unlimited music subscription service to their phone via an over-the-air download. The requisite
    Muve Music

plan is available for $65/month, which is a $10 premium over the carrier's traditional no-contract Android offering. The service comes with unlimited music downloads, ringtones and ringback tones, along with unlimited calling, messaging and 1GB of mobile data. For a quick refresh on the Mercury itself, the phone retails for $230 without contract, and highlights include a 1.4GHz processor, a 4-inch, 854 x 480 TFT-LCD display, an 8MP rear camera -- and now, an endless supply of tunes. Ready to rock out? You'll find the full PR after the break.

This update for the Much unwanted and unneeded Muve has updated my Mercury from 2.3.5 to 2.3.6 with better voice recognition and Swype keyboard as well as adding a few other unnecessary tools to the phone along with Google+ Play Books, Videos etc.... but has completely rendered the Huawei Social app useless!!!! This update has messed up my phone to now I get a SNS Force Close anytime I try and update a Facebook or Twitter etc..... What a bunch of SH*T!!!! So not only do we have dealers lying to customers abouyt all sorts of things we now have retarded techs rolling out an uncompatiable update that just screws up your phone and of course CRICKET will want someone of my nature to pay more to get a new phone for THEIR FUC* UP!!!!!!

i've had issues with this update, cant press the end button after some calls. the screen just stays black and i have to press the power button to get the screen to come on so i can press end. my sns wont post if i do any activity with the app. the muve music dont even work and im not buying some shitty memory card for it. Id rather figure out a way to remove it. My sound is cracking and sounds horrible now, where before it was great. I hate the new logo they put in place of the old one, the sound on it is freaking worse than most. my ringer ive used forever is now not working correctly and sounds horrible... I would really like this freaking update removed and go back to the old on.. and where the Hell is ICS ??
