I can't believe DFS should be the only answer to fully flashing iphone to cricket, if DFS was able to write into the iphone that means that it's possible and it's just a matter of digging deeper to avoid the current dfs monopoly which keeps the 100 price. I found the pri file in the bundle to have all the fields dfs changes, so there must be a way to edit the file and make the iphone read it. dunno hopefully someone can figure something out... as for the cricket iphones non cricket iphones issue no company will refuse an extra buck so it should be a matter of time.

So what about the iPhones already on cricket? Will the account be cancelled? We need more info.

There is a way to full flash it without dfs, doesn't matter now as Cricket will no longer accept iPhone esn.

Idk I tried putting a iPhone ESN on a guy's account today for him. I think it's because of the market he's in but it will not let me at all. I have my Verizon iPhone on cricket tho....In CID it keeps saying

I apologize, this device is not eligible for your service area. Some of our older devices are not eligible in all areas. Other device options are available at

    MyCricket.com

    .

I think it has to do with the AWS and Tri-Band area thing...i don't know.

    EDIT:

Its just his market he's in. I just used the ESN he gave me, went to change the ESN on my girl's line and it let me. I didn't complete the ESN change..just to see if it got passed the approval for ESN check and it was good to go.

You don't have turn to computers yet. lol

    I DONT USE ACCOUNT

so i talked to cricket they said that JUNE 22nd they are Releasing the IPHONE 4s for $400 8GB and $500 16GB, in stores are $600 and over + activation + $55 plan, online its $400 8GB and $500 16GB and NO ACTIVATION + free shipping and cricket said they should not be charging for ACTIVATIONS but many stores still will scam u!

i dont think that CRICKET will ban iphones that are flashed, i dont think they will, they make $$$ any way since they are getting ur service!

please note, if u sell ur **POS** Flashed iphone NOW u can get just the right amount to buy a OEM CRICKET BRANDED iphone!

START SELLING THE FLASHED ONES KNOW BE4 u cant later for a high price!

also note, since im sure that DFS is overe seas i think they got there hands on the OEM cricket iphone settings and files and is how they where able to flash the phones to get screw us they make us pay

My bad I don't know how but I know ppl who do, they won't release it though. I just got another iPhone so I'll see what I can do.

ALSO the flashed iPhones aren't a POS as it'll be the same as the cricket iPhones in everyway. They are not Cricket branded. Just says cricket on top like the hack. It's not on the housing itself.

Just put my iPhone on Craigslist for $300. Just got a offer for a straight up trade on a T-Mobile HTC Wildfire S. I told them only if they include a 1992 Teal Pontiac Grand Prix...they said they didn't have one. Note the sarcasm.

    POS Cricket I-phon

1 out of 1 members liked this post.

I just walked into my local cricket dealer and asked about flashing the i-phones and adding them. He told me he could flash them for talk and text but nothing more.. I asked him about flashing them after the release and he said OH! Oh!...the idiot did not even have a clue so these guys are not even informed about what corporate is doing.....yet.......I had to then fully explain to him what I was talking about...I left my number and asked him to call me when he can come up with an explanation of corporate policy regarding the I-phone release in regard to existing flashed I-phones and after the release.
