I am having issues with amomares solution. I get error ex080003d when I try to load IPCC via itunes, and when I load the carrier bundle via cydia via easyflashstudio but doesn't load the bundle. I even tried doing it manually via Diskaid and WINSCP to no avail.

    -Verizon Iphone 4
    -5.1 software (tethered jailbreak)
-I have tried this before and after writing data settings via DFS

Any ideas would be much appreciated

    Thank you

I am stuck at the PRL section. I am using disk aid like it says in the video however Under the ROOT folder I don't have "Carrier" folder where the PRL resides. Am I doing something incorrectly?

    Thanks.

This was updated many days ago...

    Changing PRLs

    UPDATE:
Version 4.0.0.3 of CDMA Tool can write PRLs to Apple products (iPhone/iPad).
Does the original post not display that for you? I'm at CTIA so responses will be slow. Sorry if I miss a bunch of comments.

I have Verizon iPhone4 on 5.0.1 already on Cricket with talk n text. I already sent $100 for OTA to DFS. Just waiting for balance to show up to configure internet. What IPCC files have been used successfully for this model?
    Thanks in advance.

Well, my dear friends...There is somebody out there who can flash Data for free. I'm meeting up with a guy from craigslist in my home city tonight to FULL FLASH my iPhone 4 for $45. I've been talking to him all day and he's legit. He knows all the routes and ways that I've been discussing from the tutorial on here, but he says, "I still do it my own way." when asking about CDMA Tools and the $100 token. The answer is out there, I'm going to try to get him to fess up and let me in on it.

    - FLASHING TALK & TEXT -

For the meanwhile until I meet him later tonight, and after 4 hours of just trying to get Talk and Text to work.
    Here are my notes.

Once entering the CMD prompt and using the "C:\Progam Files (x86)\iTunes...." and opening iTunes, selecting the IPCC kept throwing up error after error.

I then had to result to the method of making the .ipcc file a .zip and extracting the files. Then with diskaid replacing the zeppelin_us bundle with all the extracted files and doing the prlflag on and off booting using iFile. Following those methods I had still no success after following all steps, as well as *228, *22804...nothing worked, all kept bringing me to Verizon.

Well, unless I'm just a idiot that can't follow directions, the gentleman that's flashing the DATA to my iPhone later tonight told me everything I had done was 100% correct! BUT WAIT? Correct? Why no cricKet sir?

    ---!!!!--- *22806 ---!!!---

This is the key that brought me to the phone utilizing the custom PRL file I had loaded onto the device. Believe me, unless I was doing something completely wrong, which I don't think I was, this is what made me shat in my pants.

This had to be the key because, right before using the *22806, I had tried numerous times *228 and *22804 which kept resulting in Verizon, and without doing any other programming or fooling around, I then did the 06 method and it brought me to cricKet! Once the phone successfully programmed itself, now all *228, *22804, *22806 all come on with cricKet.

Just thought I'd share my story. Thanks.
