I like mine. You just have to read and talk to the right people to get it done.

I am Cricket Rep and we were strictly told not to accpet, activate or flash iphones from verizon, Sprint or any other CDMA provider. If you get caught doing so, apple will cancel your license and you will no longer be able to sell authorize iphones at your location. I had HTC EVO flashed from sprint and I was using it for a while, I recently upgraded to an Iphone by calling 1-800 cricket and paid the esn change charge over the phone.

June 22nd, cricket launches iPhone, from that date forward Corporate, Premier and Standard dealers are "supposed" to not activate anymore, yet I know of stores who do it daily. Apple will not cancel the dealer license, what will happen is, cricket will pull out from your store and you will no longer be able to work with cricket, if cricket has too much of that activity Apple can cancel the contract. Point is, people do it and to correct keyplanner's statement, Cricket will cancel you as a dealer not apple, Apple does not open or close cricket stores.

Why buy a brand new iPhone in the box and flash it, when you can just buy it straight from cricket?

I don't think he paid 75$ for an iPhone still sealed in the box.

I'm no phone dealer here, but if a phone is still in its packaging unopen I'm sure it would go for a few hundred $. And it wouldn't have a bad ESN. Just me guessing. I don't know about selling phones :P
