Samsung Vitality (Android) with Muve Music Headed to Cricket Wireless

    If you remember the
    Samsung Admire

at MetroPCS, then the manufacturer's Vitality handset will look mighty familiar. It's coming to Cricket and will join the
    Suede

(a feature phone) as the network's only smartphone with
    Muve Music

. Like the Admire, it features an 800MHz CPU, 3.5-inch HVGA touchscreen, a 3.2MP camera and runs stock Gingerbread. While its price and release date remain elusive, we're told the requisite plan will ring in at $65 per month -- a spendy leap for the network that goes chirp in the night. Perhaps that's the rub when you combine an Android plan with unlimited song downloads, ringtones and ringback tones. Hey, nobody ever said it'd be cheap to be law-abiding.

Yeah, that's a better deal. How many devices can you use with Spotify? Can you use MP3 Players too or just phones?

Since Spotify is streaming and not downloading songs, how well does it work once youve hit your data cap? Does Spotify play your music when you dont have a signal, like on an airplane? How many songs will Spotify store on your phone? Can you choose a particular song you want to listen to or just a genre or artist (no experience with Spotify). Can the songs from Spotify be set as ring tones or ringback tones?

For the record Muve is DOWNLOADING the music not streaming it. Kind of comparing apples to oranges. Why is it so hard for people to acknowledge a service they might never use is still a good thing? It's great you use Spotify and are satisfied with it, but Muve is not trying to be Spotify.

Whoa...was not bashing Muve, just noting that it was not something that really held much excitement for me, considering the cost. And, for the record, I can use the Spotify app on as many Android or IOS devices as i like, and you CAN download playlists for offline play. They synch to your phone, which is how it gets around Data caps, so I can use my music anywhere. I can cherry pick individual songs, or pull entire albums or even entire catalogs if I want to, and I have a collection of over 1K songs synched up between 3 devices at the moment. So yes, it does all the stuff you asked, the only thing you need a WiFi for is adding, and synch tracks, which is a limitation I can live with. And, by the way, Muve is very much trying to be Spotify. Spotify has been around for a few years in the UK to smashing success, and has just recently come over to the US. They basically built the business model that Muve/Rhapsody-Metro PCS are trying to follow.

Good to know more details. I have Spotify on my pc even though I never use it. Had to sign up when it came to the US right? How do I get the $10 a month deal? Is that an offered plan, or is it via invite. I guess I could just go look but you seem to know.

Since you already have Spotify on your PC, you should be able to get the monthly plan on their website.
