Still no luck with sending MMS right now.. I tried installing autostart root gave it permission and i set the indulge mms.apk file permissions and I renamed mmsprovisioning.apk file so its not running.. when i go to send an MMS it just says sending... I think it may have to do with my data upload speeds.. I have tried all the different hybrid PRL's my best upload rate is 20kilobits per sec according to speedtest i am downloading avg 250-300kilobits per/sec..

What are your guys speed test upload kb/ps speeds on crickets 3g data?

Is there anything else i need to change?

I guess I never payed much attention to my upload speeds, but I usually get between 350kb and 600kb an the download side. Did you try the other PRLs I posted about in the other thread? Like I said there, I had the same problem with data speeds using the hybrid PRL too. But, even with that, my MMS was working on my Evo 4G with that PRL.

The only other thing I can think to try is to replace the apnss-conf.xml in the etc folder with the one that is in the Indulge zip. Oh, and I was looking around, and found this:
xda-developers - View Single Post - Alternative Carrier Fix

Maybe the cricket55plan apns will work in APNBackupAndRestore better than the APNs that were used in the tutorial. I think you might need to go into it with a text editor and put your number in the two spots of the first apn.

If either of these don't work, then I am at a loss... Sorry if it doesn't work, it works for me for some reason so I thought I would post in hopes that it would work for others.

Try doing the APN backup and restore again. Delete APNs, then restore again and reboot. I do that and it works again... If it really bothered me, I guess I would try to dig a little deeper to try and figure out what it is that keeps changing the settings. But it's not that big of a deal to me. I just chalk it up to being one of those quirks you usually have to work around when having a flashed phone.

BTW, why not just drop $5 and get the universal MMS solution from the flashing software section? If I was on the $55 plan, and I didn't have this constant desire to torture myself, I would do it in a heartbeat. To me $5 is a small price to pay for something that just works without any problems. I only suggest that because it's obvious that MMS is a PITA on Samsung phones. I have fun trying to figure things out and learn, but if you just want a simple fix, this thread probably isn't the best solution.

154-4bdu114h, any ideas about what would change the APN settings? Did I miss something on my write-up for MMS? I've gotten this to work on both the stock ROM and also Blazer's ROM.

Yeah, I messed with MMS for like three days when I first got the phone, and got it working. That was with the stock rom, and then I flashed Blazer, and followed the steps again and it worked... I wish I had some better info to help you out. If you're on the $55 plan, I wonder if the APNs need to be different.
