Id love to see the kind of new speeds it has over a EVDO REV A.

Do you know if cricket will be doing the dumb sim card thing with their 4g devices?

LTE devices do need a UICC card (I think that's what it is called), which looks like a SIM card.

the APN should be configured on the device when it is first programmed over the air. i don't think it is Linux compatible but there may be a way to get it working same as any usb modem.

We are tying to make this stick working with our MOFI3500-3GN Version 2 router as this solution would be great for many of the Cricket customers.

So far, every provider except US Cellular and Cricket show their APN,
We found and got US Cellular to work with the same stick but so far, have not found the APN needed to make the Cricket modem to work.

If there is any info you have on this that I should try, that would be great.

thanks those that helped out with this,
We got the Cricket Huawei Boltz (E397) LTE modem working great with our MOFI3500-3GN Version 2 router.
We are the only router company that can do this with this stick right now.
All you have to do is make sure you have the latest firmware update on our site and then just put your stick in the back of the router and it will self configure and work.

This is great for anyone that have internet on any devices like iPad, phones, satellite receivers or any device that you want to connect with either a wired or wireless connection.

Also great for any business users that want to have a fail over system in place

    thank again,

    still working on my MOFI

I have been using this router for 2 months and have am trying to make it work consistently with an Ipad 2. I thought IOS 6.1 would solve it but it did not.

The support from Mofi is continuing and I hope to have this problem resolved...

How is the router working with your other devices?

Many customers have this working great with their ipad so right now, we have to find out why your is not working.

But concerning the computers and other devices, is the Boltz working fine?
