turn off WIFI on Crosswave modem

I have a Crosswave modem directly connected to my computer via USB. When I activate the modem, it automatically enables the WIFI feature which I don't use. Since I'm in a big industrial building with many other offices, I would rather not be unnecessarily broadcasting WIFI if I don't have to. I know I can log into the modem and turn off the WIFI, but I'd rather not have it come on at all, since it's a pain to do that every day. Is there a way to configure the Crosswave so that the WIFI doesn't come on by default?

Thanks for the reply. There is a switch in the settings that can be turned off, but it defaults to on every time the modem is re-activated.
