Thread: MEIDs not approved by Cricket

I have a couple of phones to flash, one an LG Revolution and the other an HTC Thunerbolt. Both are LTE 4G phones and have an Meid starting with 990. I read somewhere that Cricket will not activate a phone unless the MEID starts with 268 or 270. Can anyone confirm if this is the case or not.

On the phone itself, the 990 number is listed under MEID/IMEI. I wasn't sure.

Delete the very last number from the 99 number and convert that using a meid converter. End result should be a 256 number and Cricket will accept that

I tried it and it did.

Just to correct what Wolf said.
The 99 number is the MEID, its the MEID HEX. Cricket needs the MEID DEC to activate the device.
