DROID 3 (semi) fully flashed to Cricket, ***MMS still not working*** (Need help)
Ok, I've semi fully flashed my Droid 3 to cricket using various thread info and video, primarily this one,
CricketUsers.com - Flash Verizon Motorola Droid 3 to Cricket Wireless (talk, text, MMS, Internet) - YouTube
Droid 3 MMS not working
Switched between two prls's (Hybrid-45513) & (regular-35510) (to see if that might increase performance (which it did).
But to no avail I can only receive sms, mms, I can send sms, I CAN NOT send long sms/mms text messages, nor can I send mms picture messaging.
Using the gosms sdk I on few occations been able to send a picture or two, then it fails too eventually, using gosms I CAN NOT send a single sms/mms text message, it results in (garble) sent to the receiver.
I've gone into apn settings reworked them using these linked solutions, and some others, nothing seems to work.
Please assist me in acquiring MMS on my Droid 3 flashed to cricket please.

3nJo1 try this
<?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8' standalone='yes' ?>
<apns count="1">
<apn name="CDMA-MMS" numeric="46605" mcc="466" mnc="05" apn="mms" user="your10digit#here" server="NA" password="cricket" proxy="wap.mycricket.com" port="8080" mmsproxy="null" mmsport="null" mmsprotocol="null" mmsc="
http://mms.mycricket.com/mycricket/mms.php
" type="mms" />
</apns>
Just edit the "your10digit#here" part with your phone number and save this.
Place it on your phone's SDCard under a folder called "apnbackuprestore". Then open the Android App APN Backup and Restore (included in this thread and on the Market) on your Evo. Backup the stock settings. Then delete APNs and restore the APN i attached BTW make sure you edit the xml file with note pad and put YOUR number in it.
You should have everything working now. Talk, text and Internet. I've already attached the .XML file its called Cricket.
Once all of that is done install the cricketmms.apk once thats installed, install the SMSFix-2.3.4 app and once its done open SMS Time and click "adjustment method' and select "use phone time". instead of using the stock texting app you will use universal CKT for you texting and MMS.SMSFix-2.3.4.apk APNShortcut-v1.0.apk apnbackuprestore.apk cricketmms.apk Cricket.xml

Try inputting you apn manually
1) Use the apn app to input your APN settings manually
2) Enter the settings below for the first APN.
Name: Cricket
APN: Internet
Proxy: <not set>
Port: <not set>
Username: yourphonenumber@mycricket.com
Password: cricket
Server:
wap.mycricket.com
MMSC:
http://mms.mycricket.com/servlets/mms
MMS proxy:
wap.mycricket.com
MMS port: 8080
MCC: 310
MNC: 004
Authentication: Type PAP or CHAP
APN type: <not set>
3) Hit menu and save.
4) Check the circle next to the name (it turns green).
5) Open the dialer and hit ##program talk.
6) Enter SPC (000000 without quotes)
7) Go to SMS/MMS settings.
8) MML server name
wap.mycricket.com
.
9) Address for upload to online album, change to 111111.
10) Back out and the settings should be saved.

I've already done this via the links I have up top.
I have been able to send 3 successful mms/pic msgs thus far.
(I think it's dependant upon that at times I'm at 1x and not 3G more often.)
I still can NOT send mms/text messages still come up as (garble)
Is there a correlation between my 1x & 3G ? It spends alot more time on 1x.

well 1x is a VERY slow version of internet so that could be the issue is that the message times out b4 it finishes sending

I have a bionic coming in my shop today, any progress? I plan on using CDMA workshop, QPST and DFS. Any tricks I should know of?
