I had to do those additional modifications for the Droid 2. I'm guessing the same might have to be done for the Droid X, but that would be nice if someone could confirm.

    Question APN edit problems.....

I'm trying to edit the APN settings for droid x and its greyed when I try to change the settings. I have an unrooted droid x running gingerbread 2.3.3, does that have anything to do with it not allowing me access to change the APN verizon internet settings?

Hey, use apn backup restore...to delete the apn's....now you can start a new apn by hitting the menu button after you click apn shortcut

Swyped this from my Droidx using tapatalk

I can't get 3G or MMS to work on my Droid X. I have tried using QPST for the web and I can't seem to get off of Verizons network and onto Crickets!!! I have followed this to the letter:

Say buh-bye to VZW: Flashing your Droid X to Cricket or MetroPCS

I managed to get talk and text working, but no web or mms.
